The Knox County Chamber of Commerce is officially under new leadership.
Jamie Neal takes over as the chamber’s new President effective this morning. She steps into the role left vacant by Mark McNeece at the end of September. Neal is a name familiar to the area, having served as the former assistant director of admissions at Vincennes University and as the director of the Knox County Community Foundation.
Neal will be assisted by Elizabeth Johnson, who will transition from the Chamber’s office manager into the role of Vice President.
Neal was chosen after a selection process that spanned several weeks. According to the newspaper, Neal’s prior experience, partnered with the chamber’s vision for the future was a perfect match. Both Neal and Johnson will assume their new roles effective today.
