County Re-Ups with KCDC

The Knox County Commissioners renewed their annual service contract agreement with the Knox County Development Corporation at their meeting Tuesday.

KCDC receives an annual stipend of $48,000 from the county for operation of its office in exchange for serving as the economic marketing arm for the county.

The money is paid out through the county’s Economic Development Income Tax.
