The Light Up a Life Program makes its return later this month.
The program, hosted by Good Samaritan Hospice is an annual fundraising and candle-lighting service held in remembrance of individuals who have passed away and in celebration of those living.
November marks National Hospice Month and in early December, as a prelude to winter, hospices throughout the country sponsor a Light Up a Life Program to gather families and friends for a time of remembrance, ritual and renewal. This event is also a fundraising opportunity for Good Samaritan, so they can continue the comforting care of individuals in their final journey.
The candle-lighting service will be at Vincennes University Green Activities Center, located at 120 W. Harrison Street in Vincennes, on Monday, November 13th at 6:00 p.m.
The event is free and open to every family throughout the eleven counties Good Samaritan serves in Indiana and Illinois. A reception will follow the event.
