Posted on November 10th, 2017

KCARC will host an open house this Sunday to celebrate the opening of its 1972 Community Center on Old Bruceville Road. Speaking on WVUT’s 22-Magazine, President Mike Carney emphasizes that everyone is welcome to use the new facility.
He adds there are a number of activities planned to draw people in.

Carney says 1972 designates the year KCARC was founded in Knox County. Job skill classes for KCARC clients with special disabilities will also be offered. This Sunday’s Open House will be from 1-to-5 pm. A handout sheet listing activities and hours for the community center will be available.
