Local Residents to Form Vincennes Lions Club

Posted on November 13th, 2017

A group of local citizens is coming together to join the largest service organization in the world.

The Vincennes Lions Club is now seeking civic-minded men and women to join together in working to meet the needs of the community. In a press release, the club describes themselves as people who want to help, who want to make a difference, and who want to have fun while doing it.

“Lions give a lot to their communities, but they get back something that’s even more valuable – the satisfaction that comes from changing lives,” said Bill Nicholson, President of the Wheatland Lions Club.

Those interested in joining the Vincennes Lions Club can attend an informational session scheduled for later this week. It will be held in room 142 of the Indiana Center for Applied Technology, located on the Vincennes University Campus, on Thursday, November 16th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
