KC Recycling Helping With Unwanted Decorations

Posted on November 20th, 2017

Knox County Recycling is teaming up with Lowe’s to help you with your Holiday Decorations!

We’ve all been there, faced with the question of what to do with broken and unwanted strands of holiday lights! Now, there’s an answer.

Starting Wednesday, November 22nd through Friday, January 5th, you can bring your broken, not working or simply unwanted strands of holiday lights to Lowe’s, located at 2700 N 6th Street in Vincennes, to be recycled.

From there, Knox County Recycling will send the lights to Recycle Force in Indianapolis, with the rest of the electronics from their Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Site. Click here for a full list of items accepted at the Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off.
